We hired Neville and Nesta Garrick for this project as Neville has been designing for many years. Neville has designed numerous albums of Bob Marley and The Wailers including Survivor, Burning, Legend, Exodus as well as for Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh and many many others. The album was mastered by a well known grammy winning engineer. The album consists of 8 classic hit songs written and sung by Zap-Pow including singers like Beres Hammond and Mikey Williams. There are 7 brand new songs written and produced by Zap-Pow adding some old school members and some new talent into the mix. The original members consist of Glen DaCosta and Dwight Pinkney. There are other long time members that recorded on this new reunion album like TeeBirdd, the keyboard player. The album was recorded in 2017. The Zap-Pow AGAIN album.... out now via VP RECORDS!
MY BOOK
I have been working diligently on my book project for the past 22 years and it is now time for the world to read my side of the story. I played with Bob Marley and The Wailers from 1972 until Bob passed and continues to play with The Wailers for another 20+ years after he died. I had the distinct honor in playing on many of Bob Marley and The Wailers album offer my unique style of playing the sax to the mix. Bob sought out for the best horns-men in Jamaica and I was favored as one of them along with David Madden and Vin Gordon. My book takes you on a journey from childhood up to the present times, capturing very special moments throughout my life. I have been fortunate in many ways as music and playing an instrument was paramount in my life and I have been blessed to be able to make a living from it. My book also captures what it was like to be on the road with Bob Marley and The Wailers touring, recording and living our lives together as a unit on tour.
